Today's curly fro...

OK I should have my blogpost up sometime tonight regarding natural hair reactions - I wanted to post last night but I left my laptop at work :( Here is my hair today. Not a big deal, right? But I have NEVER worn my hair completely out while at work, and only twice outside of work. Weird, I know. But now that I've done it, I'm really feelin' it! So I will be wearing it this way for a minute!

I would have such reservations about wearing my natural hair out at work, because where I live, it's just not done unless your hair is straight or in braids/dreds and pulled back.
But if someone wore their natural hair, I think it would cause problems or I would be pulled aside, so not right/fair. It's actually pretty demoralizing and prejudiced, seeing as how I live in a mainly black country, The Bahamas. Anywho, when I start work in January, I'll try to be brave and try wearing my hair out; maybe no one will say anything but good things.
