Makeup Stash... A Problem?

For some odd reason, I had the urge to gather ALL of my makeup today and see exactly what I had and how much of it. Let's just say... I had more than I thought! How did this happen??? All I know is, I buy one or two makeup items here and there, maybe once a week or every two weeks, and apparently it adds up!!! I have vowed to myself that I will NOT be buying anymore makeup for the rest of 2009. This is going to be hard, but whenever I get the urge, I'll look at this pic that I saved to my phone, to remind myself I don't need anything else. I mean, I do have 78 lipsticks/lipglosses!! LOL This is crazy...

More Style!

Remember I said I LOVE Rihanna's style?? Well, yeah, STILL do!! She can pull off almost anything in my opinion. Was she always so fly? LOL Why have I only noticed in the last 1-2 years? Anywho, I don't care what any of you people say, I "heart" her hair!!!!!

Hot beat, Whack Lyrics, "Catchy" Hook with dance = HIT!!?? NOOOOOO!

Sigh... Here we go again, folks. A friend brought this dance/song (if you want to call it that) to my attention. I then proceeded to look it up on YouTube and this is what I came up with. Either I am getting old, or these songs these days are DUMB! I'll admit, Stanky Leg was entertaining for a little bit, just b/c it looks so crazy and I like to do it to be silly, b/c I am sometimes... lmao But this is getting out of hand! I don't want to see/hear anymore of this crap these kids are calling music!!! I miss old-school groups like New Edition and Mint Condition (I know they still make music here and there but u know what I mean). The songs that get airplay really suck. There is no substance. If it takes 2 vodka and cranberries and a patron shot on the side to get me to participate in this madness... I don't think it's real talent, folks. Not to take this too seriously, but it's sad when I see so many talented artists get looked over just b/c they actually have vocals and want to sing about SOMETHING. Sad.

Cell Phones and Caller-Rejection

Has anyone ever wanted to block certain calls from coming into their cell phones?? It appears that some people don't get the hint when you don't answer even after they call and leave messages REPEATEDLY. FYI: I tend to always get back to people and if I can't in a good time frame, I will text you and let you know I'll call you as soon as I can. I don't typically ignore people unless I really have no interest. That being said, If I don't answer, please stop calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL But anyway, I really do wish that cell phone companies offered some type of "do not disturb" or "call rejection" service where the call doesn't come through to your phone AT ALL. Meaning, it doesn't even go to your voicemail. Instead, the caller gets some type of message saying you are busy or not accepting calls. That would be SWEET! I think cell phone companies should work on that. Right now, I have a blackberry and the most I can do is set certain #s up to not ring, but it still comes through. I do believe there is some blackberry software out there (for a price, of course) that will block certain calls, but I have no interest in paying what they're asking for. Maybe one day, cell phone companies will make my dream a reality. LOL!
