Hi, All! I'm back :)
I came back to my social networks about a week ago. I decided to do something a little different with my hair. I'm wearing it straight for a little while. Here is the thing: I didn't want to straighten MY hair for fear of heat damage. And I didn't want to cut my hair because I am growing it out. So, what's a girl to do?
I hit up my sister (Chanell) in PA - you may remember me saying that she is a licensed cosmetologist. She hooked big sis up. I'm loving the bob style because this is how my hair was back in 2007/2008 right before I did my Big Chop and went all-natural. This is a little longer than it was back then since that is the look I was going for. I love how natural my hair looks. I don't know how long I will keep this in, maybe a month to a month and a half. We will see. For now, just enjoying the change without worrying about my hair reverting. ;-)
Here are a few pics.

Very cute. I have been contemplating doing something different as well. Tired of the braids! Think you'll experiment with your hair (roller set, curly hair, wavy, etc)?
Thank you! I'm not sure. I haven't thought that far ahead. Lol Enjoying the way it is for now :)
I love this bob action. You're beautiful.
O yea and welcome back :-)
Aww! Thank you, girl :)
I have a question. When you got your city twists last year did you have breakage when you took them down? I have an apothegm coming up and now I am having 2nd thoughts.
@Anon My Urban Twists didn't cause breakage, but I'd definitely suggest not leaving them in for longer than suggested (approximately 2 months). I also would allow my hair to breathe after getting them before doing another protective style (maybe a couple weeks) to avoid stressing your hair/scalp.
Thanks. I am travelling for my appt and I was seeing more negative comments than positive and became concerned The reality is that I loved ur hair and I saw they were coming to Dc. I said road trip.Thank YOU! I wanted a change from my two strand twists and I will keep my fingers crossed that they will not disappoint.
Aww you're welcome!! You should be fine. Just take care of your hair while the extensions are in (I made a vid on my channel of how I cared for mine - youtube.com/tayah97). Wishing u the best! :)
