For some odd reason, I had the urge to gather ALL of my makeup today and see exactly what I had and how much of it. Let's just say... I had more than I thought! How did this happen??? All I know is, I buy one or two makeup items here and there, maybe once a week or every two weeks, and apparently it adds up!!! I have vowed to myself that I will NOT be buying anymore makeup for the rest of 2009. This is going to be hard, but whenever I get the urge, I'll look at this pic that I saved to my phone, to remind myself I don't need anything else. I mean, I do have 78 lipsticks/lipglosses!! LOL This is crazy...

Yeah... I have seen worse. LOL But dang I didn't realize I had so much!! :-o
if its ok for me to say...its never a good idea to restrict yourself so drastically(especially since 09 just started. Instead track your spending of what u buy and how much you spend over the nxt month. Just so your aware of how much u usually blow. Then from there designate an amount of money per month, week, or paycheck that satisfies your urge. The pic in your phone can help u remember what u have that way u dont pick up the same shades or color in different brands ya know.Also dont buy anything that you dont LOVE and know you'll wanna use like everyday. Just an idea.
Thanks, Licklemslady! You're right, I can't just say "Nothing for the rest of 2009" -- I was pretty overwhelmed with everything I had when I viewed this pic. LOL I will note that not all of these purchases are recent, it's over a span of 2 years or so, so I guess in that sense it's not that bad, but I just didn't need all the "repeat"/multiple items I had. I threw some "old" stuff away, too, b/c you can only keep some makeup items for so long.
ohhhhh wow yea theres a problem..lol..lol.jp...i'm headed down that same path lol..ITS NATURAL!!! lol.lol.
